Good Morning Dolls! Well as you can see I am fully awake, I can not fall back to sleep for the love of me. I made one sudden turn in bed and from then on I was wide awake, staring at the ceiling and thinking about things I really wasn't in the mood to think about..Has this ever happen to you?

What kinds of things were I thinking about you ask? Well some personal of course, me just thinking about the kind of life I want to live, how I want to make the BEST of this life God gave me to do right by. I was talking to a good friend of mines Eric Anthony Johnson who is the CEO of http://www.javaboiindustries.com/ and he is always great at giving advice and he made a comment during our conversation if the advice he gave me was too "unsugarcoated or harsh" and I said "Absolutely not, I like my coffee with sugar not my advice" and this is so true because I just want my friends and family to just tell me the truth on what ever thoughts they have of me or for me 100%. Eric is a great mentor and I appreciate his words always..Just wanted to let that me known.

Life may not always be what you plan it to be but isn't that a good thing? The moment of surprise? I feel like people and when I mean people I mean friends and family put so much pressure on us to live by what THEY think is the right way to live that we just constantly feel like a total disappointment. THIS IS NOT OK! I live my life the way I live it because it is my life. If God intended me to have a cheat sheet on life and all I had to do was just mimic what others were doing I mean does this make sense to you? I am just tired of people pin pointing my errors because I dont do things the way they would. I have put a lot of pressure on myself about this to a point where I am like "What am I doing wrong" The Answer: There is no answer you just have to roll with the punches...and expect the unexpected I guess. I know I am trying my hardest and when ever I am feeling down or just completely out of it I know who I can vent to and who not to vent to.

Look...I am not here to please everyone or anyone but I do like to put a smile on a person face is possible without the criticism, with out the judgement, with out these people having the need to base their opinion's by comparing my life to theirs..Im not mad I dont even think I care as much anymore all I know what I am doing and that my daughter loves me for it. I think we; especially us mothers out there get this feeling all the time and just dont know how to express it and I hope I was able to shine some light on the subject and let you know that you are not alone..I think actually I know that our biggest critics were some of the most beaten down victims of the same thing we are going through now..they just forgot the feeling it can make a person feel.

LMAO! I dont even know where all this came from..I guess it needed to be address..Hope you all have an amazing Tuesday morning. I will most likely crash this afternoon once my coffee wears off lol..but from no sleep to smiling now I guess it's all worth it.

Halloween is just 2 weeks away and I don't know about you but I am super excited. My friends and family know more than anyone else how I love my press on nails and lush eyelashes when it comes to going out on the town..But ladies I never thought I would see the day I would fall in love with some of the most outrageous lashes and fabulous nails for the Halloween season.

Yesterday I attended "Kiss Halloween Webinar" where they discussed some of the new Halloween products they had available for us ladies who want to tweak our looks just a bit. First lets talk about the lashes which are one of my favorites items in this collection. The lashes are super out there, very dramatic and just gives your look an instant "POP" and the best part is they come with 2 strings on each end of the lashes so you can place them without the hassle of using tweezers..once you add enough glue to the lashes you then apply and pull the strings out 1..2..3 and your done.

Next Up are the nail and face stickers..the nail stickers come in Halloween theme characters such as cute skeletons, spiders and webs. All you have to do is stick them to your nail and your set to go! Then you have the face jewel stickers which you can place on your cheeks or at the edge of your eyes to give it that dramatic look..anything you want to do you can with so many options in the pack to choose from. Also if you want to add some extra pizzazz to your nails you can use the nail art nail polish which has a fine brush to put decorations of your liking to your nails of course in its Halloween fashion the colors available are Black, Orange and White.

I have called my friends and family and yelped like an insane person to tell them all about it..lol..Fashion has always been a first love of mines, then Makeup came into the picture and it gave me amazing confidence and a new person to look at when I glance at the mirror. I may not be a official Makeup Artist but that is the dream, to be able to hold a certificate of completion for something I hold so dear to my heart. My daughter Jayla who I adore and love in all this Moon, looks up to me and was excited to see her mom doing makeup as she does every day lol..I would love to be a role model for her.

Dita Von Teese Partners with Kiss Nails

Hey Dolls! I have to tell you when I found out that Dita Von Teese was making her own line of nails with Kiss Nails I was super excited to see what it was going to look like. For review purposes I was sent a set of nails from the Dita Von Teese collection and OMG its exactly what I expected, glamour and tremendous pizzazz.

Through out the years a lot of people used to come up to Dita and strike up a conversation with her regarding her nails and she would just say that she loves tributes to the past with a twist, and these nails are just that - chic, fashionable, and the last word in nostalgic glamour." Dita Von Teese is all about vintage sexy and old school glam and these nails nailed it (no pun intended lol)

They come in a set of 24 nails and glue and a cuticle pusher (if needed) I didn't use the pusher since I am always messing around with my nails here and there. The nails as you can see from the photos above are a bit on the pointy side which is alittle bit out of my comfort zone but still looked amazing..because I have a daughter I did have to file them down a little and they look just as amazing as if I would have left them alone. This set of nails does not come with the small nail file you would normally see in a pack of stick on nails because filing them down with defeat the purpose of the Dita Von Teese look. I however chose to file them down due to convienance.

Kim Kardashian Inspired Outfit of the day

Hey Dolls, Hope all is well so for the past couple of days I have been thinking of some upcoming things I can do to my blog that can catch the attention of my fabulous ladies on here. I find Kim Kardashian to be such a fascinating person and stylish as well she is officially my style icon, we are the same height you know "SHORT" lol.

I had recently read a magazine where Kim was featured wearing the most adorable black and white maxi dress and I wanted to so replicate this look but at a more affordable price range. I think I did it because as I was shopping for my past Florida trip I found almost the same exact dress in a store called "Payhalf" for $14.99 the purse I am carrying is Mulberry for Target which came out to $39.99 alot cheaper then the $10,000 Berkin bag she was wearing that day. I hope you like the way the recreation came to be. Comments and opinions of this look would be appreciated. If you like this kind of post where I can recreate a celebrity look for a more reasonable price range please let me know and I will do just that!

Good Morning Ladies,

I don't know about you but have you ever had that certain feeling come over you where you just feel so blah, so not yourself that you needed something to just lift your spirits and make you smile? Well, last night I had one of those feelings happen. Life has a way of coming at you all at one time and although I am a very positive person it's natural to feel less pampered especially on a budget. We as women need to find a way to take care of ourselves and feel inspired that beauty and glamour does not have to break the wallet.

Last night, I felt like doing my nails but not paint them or file them just have them done 1, 2, 3 and go about my business with out the worry of my nails getting smudged or messed up. This is why I LOVE "Kiss Nails", they have so many varieties of designs and looks to choose from its like being in a nail salon but at home. I chose to do my nails out of my regular comfort zone since I always go for a natural clean look like a french manicure but last night I wanted to do something different. Hey Dolls, I wanted to take the time out to let you guys know about a fabulous new product that I have been using for the past month. I was sent a few samples of the Miracle Skin Transformer to try out and I have to tell you at first I was a little skeptical..this product was stating it can make my skin even and it wasn't a foundation but a tinted moisturizer..I am not a skeptic anymore because this product is amazing.

This multi-functional formula comes In 7 shades so it's perfect for all kinds of skin tone, being that I am tanned due to the sun in the summer time my color is Tan and it perfect for my skin tones. It is a natural-silicone tinted moisturizer that works immediately to hydrate, protect and enhance skin. It left my face feeling so light and gave me a flawless look with out all the heavy buildup of a regular foundation especially in the summer time. I took the Miracle Skin Transformer on vacation with me to Florida and I was so please with the results, my face stayed hydrated, it did not become oily or feel like I had tons of product on my face.

I would recommend you guys to try this product out if you really want a flawless look with out having a heavy feel to you face. There are other tinted moisturizer that just dont do it for me, either they are too heavy, greasy or the shade just isn't right.

My Birthday OOTD!

I had such an amazing time for my birthday weekend! July 15-16 will a weekend I shall never forget! I wanted to make this blog post short and sweet so you dolls can see the outfits I wore that weekend.

1. The first outfit is the day of 7/15 ~ I wore a white and black flowy top from 5.7.9 store, the jeans were $9.99 at a regular clothing store from my block and the shoes were from 5.7.9 as well I believe I paid $14.99 for them. I went out with my friends to Sequoias at South Street Seaport for drinks :)

2. The second outfit was on 7/16 ~ I went with my best friends to a ladies picnic at Central Park. It was so nice the picture here is at the Castle by the Great Lawn in Central Park. I am wearing a beige racer back tank top from Get Ready I paid about $2.99, the yellow skirt which I LOVE i purchase for $7.99 from Lucky 21 and the brown sandals I also purchased at Lucky 21 for about $9.99.

3. The 3rd and final outfit of my birthday weekend was the night of 7/16 ~ I went to the Dubai Lounge with my closet friends and Family. This dress was purchase at GoJane I LOVE this dress and there customer service was just amazing. This was a asymmetrical leopard dress that I purchased for $14.99 plus shipping came out to an even $20.00 :) the shoes are my gold glitter pumps from Steve Madden.

Nicole's Bath Delights

Who doesn't love to take a shower/bath a come out smelling so great, I know I do. Well I want to talk to you about a very special company called Nicole's Bath Delights. The owner who's name is Brittany is a stay at home mom of 2 children who loves anything that has to do with bath and body products, as she searched online she didn't find what she was looking for and was then inspired to start her own business in making goat milk soap.
She has about 50 different scents to choose from, fruity scents, perfume scents, to even a zodiac line of soap. Brittany was kind enough to send me some samples to try out and I must say I fell in love with each and everyone of them. I was sent the following:
1. Cancer (Zodiac line)
2. Apple Jack Peel
3. Lavender (I love)
4. Clinique
5. Oatmeal, Milk and Honey
6. Monkey Farts (My daughters fav)

Monkey Farts has almost a banana pineapple scent with glitter. My daughter Jayla loves it, everytime we get ready for her bath she asks for her monkey soap lol. What I love about these soaps that they consist of oils that is great for your skin such as sweet alomond oil, vitamin E oil, olive oil and liquid glycerin(vegetable) so that this soap makes a moisturizing lather on your skin. The packaging as you can see from the photos above were beautiful, you can smell the greatness of these soaps as soon as you open the package and it wasn't an over whelming smell either. I have nothing bad to say about these soaps, and I totally recommend them to friends and family. They are great for birthday gifts, Christmas gifts or even if you have a smelly friend lol, they dont need to know why but all joking aside this is a really great company and I love to support my hard working mothers out there trying to do the best they can for their families.

In Dedication To Caylee Marie

I feel a strong need to do this post, As a mother of a 3 year old little girl this blog post has to be done. Yesterday was a sad day for million of people all around the world especially for the little life we lost 3 years ago. Little Caylee Marie Anthony received no justice yesterday from the people who were suppose to look out for her, the people who were supposed to give her justice after all the suffering she had to endure. Casey Anthony was found "NOT GUILTY" of 1st degree murder and man slaughter. This woman who gave birth to Caylee (she is no mother for me to grant her the title) took this little girls life into her own hands. She stole the precious life little Caylee could have had in the matter of seconds just so she can party hard with her friends.

I dont understand how 12 people who saw all the evidence, who heard all the testimony, who saw the coldness of emotion from this woman face can determine she is of sound mine and not charge her with the murder of this little girl. It is a complete outrage, an outrage still being felt and heard all around the world. We want Justice for Caylee. I want Justice for Caylee. I am sad and angry that this all happen and that this woman will not pay for what she has done by law. The law failed Caylee, The justice system failed Caylee, The state of Florida failed Caylee. I hope thos 12 jurors, the defense team, Casey Anthony all go through heartache and are haunted by the decisions they made.

I ask those who are reading this post to please keep Little Caylee Marie Anthony in your prayers. On the right side of my blog page there is a petition for Caylee's Law. This is to make sure if a parent doesnt report their child missing in a timely matter they will face consenquences for not doing so. There has to be someone out there to stand up for what happen to Caylee, this little girl did not bury herself and place duct tape on her own face, she did not climb into that trunk on her own she was placed there. This woman who was suppose to love her a million times hard gave up the opportunity to be a mother to this little girl and instead killed her in order to live a "Bella Vita" as she so stupidly tattooed on her body around the time when she had "no idea" where Caylee was.

I have a message to you Casey Anthony, you may have gotten away with murder now but you did not for one second escape your judgement day, because you will be judged, you will reap what you sow. You will be haunted everyday for the rest of your pathetic life because you are a baby killer. No one will ever want to have anything to do with you because you are a poor excuse for a human being, you are a monster. Prepare yourself for your dooms day.

Please join me in paying tribute to little Caylee Marie. Although I never met her, I never saw her in person she is in my heart forever. I will continue to pray for her and pray that justice be served. May you forever Rest In Peace Caylee Marie Anthony we miss and love you always!

I want to start off my dedicating this entry to the person who inspired me to write about it. Mr. Eric Anthony Johnson. If you want to know the definition of a walking inspiration, success in human form, and the aura of positivity then I recommend that you continue to read on.

Eric Anthony Johnson is the CEO of JavaBoi Industries, this is a company that offers the most adorable yet fierce t-shirts for the ultimate coffee lover (like myself) in all types of colors and creative phrases such as “Im Java Whipped”, “Tea is coffee’s gay cousin” and “In Java we trust”. Eric has come such a long way to promote and advertise his business in the best way he knows how and of course I was hooked right away. I remember the first time I ever heard of JavaBoi Industries, I was watching a fellow youtuber Ms. BentlyBlonde and she was doing a review of a couple of his shirts and I just fell in love instantly, I said to myself “Get out of here how cute is that?” and I just had to get more information on this company. I later found Eric on Facebook and requested him, there he would post the most inspirational statuses and would hold giveaways on the occasion to his loyal fans. One day Eric held a giveaway on one of his shirts to whomever can answer one of his questions and of course I answered correctly and won a Javaboi T-shirt which I immediately fell in love with, This is where my addiction to caffeine got stronger lol.

Jmoon-1. When did you know that being involved in the beauty industry was something you wanted to do?
DBeautyJ-Actually I used to be the biggest tomboy I preferred my timberland boots and baggy jeans to a dress any day. I only made an effort during special occasions and holidays. It was about five years ago that I officially started the girly transformation to full time status. It was mainly due to an intervention by a friend of mine. She marched me into Sephora and told me honestly I'm worth it. So I kept it going.
Jmoon I think every young girl had a tomboy phase one time or another so I can totally relate to that feeling.

Jmoon-2. What gives you inspiration on a daily basis when regarding your blog entries?
DbeautyJ-People don't understand how much effort it takes us to be beauty bloggers having to write everyday and be clever is difficult sometimes. However my writing is an escape when I'm having a difficult day at work I'll hide in the bathroom put on some makeup and start writing. It's a tension stress reliever.
Jmoon LOL! I can totally picture you hiding in your office playing with makeup :D

Jmoon-3. Since having your blog have you noticed great things happen or did it stay pretty much the same?
DBeautyJ-Actually everything stayed the same for awhile it took about a year when some amazing things started happening. Suddenly I was popular and people were asking my advice. Later I would be invited to brand parties and I'd even meet creators and famous MUA's. It has been a tremendous ride and I'm so very blessed to be on it.

Jmoon-4. What are you hobbies? What do you do to wisk your mind away from the chaotic world?
DBeautyJ-Hmmm I don't really have hobbies, i'm a bit of a tech junkie so I guess my hobby would be playing with the newest toys out.

Jmoon-5. What are your favorite makeup brands?
DBeautyJ-it's so hard to pick, but I adore Make Up For Ever I use their products on a daily basis. Being a makeup junkie my favorite will depend on what I'm wearing that day.

Jmoon-6. What would your advice be for young girls wanting to be just like you?
DBeautyJ-My advice don't be like me LOL...I'm trouble. My only real advice to anyone is to be yourself, and get comfortable in your skin. It took me a long time to feel beautiful and young girls need to realize they are gorgeous they way they were made. Enjoy your youth!

Jmoon-8. What is your number one main goal? What would you like to see come out from doing your blog?

Sick in bed..

Happy Tuesday Dolls..So I have been thinking that I should write whats going on in my life. Just a little entry letting you ladies know whats going on with me at the moment. For the past 2 days I have been really sick and honestly I am the type of person that hates calling out of work because I dont want to look irresponsible. I much rather go to work and have my boss tell me to go home then me just call out but today I had to call out cause I was just so out of it. I was talking to a friend of mines yesterday and we were just joking around about how funny I sound since I was losing my voice so I took that and came up with an idea of singing a song for my youtube channel. I was actually proud of myself for going through with it cause I am occasionally shy at times. I posted the video and recieved all these amazing comments of people saying how much they loved the video and how I made them laugh lol. I was so happy to hear that.

Making that video made me open up a bit and not be so scared about what people think about me. I promised myself to do more makeup tutorials so that I have a wider range of videos to show on my channel and doing this singing video really helped. I have had the honor of meeting Ms. LayDPynk a few months ago and she is the sweetest most humble and one of the most talented girls I have ever met. The first time I learned about LayDPynk was when I stumbled upon one of her Youtube video where she is known as PynkPussyCat. I just thought to myself “Wow” this girl is such a natural and I loved how her beautiful children where in her videos almost all the time playing in the background. Ms. LayDPynk has an amazing imagination and she makes it known when she does her Halloween inspired makeup looks, or her glammed up diamond eyes look, she also does unique hairstyles in which she just creates art in whichever way she can.

Ms. LayDPynk’s talents doesn’t just stop there, she is the proud owner of a fabulous website called www.LayDPynk.com where she sells beautiful jewelry such as necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets in forms of snakes, butterflies, blow dryers and skulls. She also sells sexy dresses to go out on the town or to go clubbing with the girls, she also just started selling shoes on her website for all you shoe lovers out there. I recently attended IMATS NY and there Ms. LayDPynk was handing out her flyers and business cards, this was a girl on a mission. Make It Happen

Ever wake up in the morning and open your eyes and think “What the heck am I doing with my life?” I can’t even explain to you how many times that has happened to me. I have this vision as a young child that I was going to be at a certain place at a certain time. We all have to make our mark in this world in some way or another but we are rarely given the opportunity to prove that point.

Recently I started thinking just because I have my regular 9-5 that doesn’t mean that defines me and my personality does it? If I am a working woman by day where this is the job I do to make a living and pay my bills to support my family does that mean this is the definition of “Jasmin Ortiz?” I decided to take the steps I needed to make in order to make a name for myself, to prove to myself and no one else that I am capable of achieving my wants in any way I can. Although I know schooling is a big factor it isn’t the only means of success, you can be self taught and read as many books in the subject of your choice and become a expert in that way, create opportunities where you can be more hands on and learn that way.

I will be honest with you I didn’t always love makeup; my first love has always been and forever will be fashion. I learned to fall in love with the cousin of fashion just about a little over a year ago. I never wore makeup the way I do now and I feel as it helped me become this more confident person. I was embraced by all the makeup love at that point lol.

This entry is being written to you in hopes of getting to know me a little bit better as well as helping others who doubt their talents. I know many of you have some kind of dream, some kind of wish that you would love to make happen and I am here to tell you that YOU CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING YOUR HEART DESIRES. Keep fighting for what you believe in, if you love fashion then collect magazines learn what is hot for this upcoming season, help your friends with their wardrobe, make them over and take pictures. If makeup is your passions then have makeup get together, do your friends and families makeup for a night out or an early brunch and take pictures, you can learn in so many different ways. I have so many passions in my life and I have to tell you that I try my best to combine them all. If this world was full of people with passion rather than people settling just to make ends meet, No one is going to be happy and there will be no positivity in this world. Take what defines you and OWN it! Do whatever it is you have to do big or small and just try. Mercedez Benz Fashion Week 2011

February 13th 2011 will be a date that I shall remember forever and a day. I was blessed with the opportunity to be a part of one of the most biggest moments in fashion history. A good friend of mine invited me to join her and experiece fashion week first hand, and I have to tell you it was everything I ever dreamed of and more.

First let me share a little story with you. When I was about 8 years old I knew that I loved to draw and design outfits for my Barbie, I knew that there was something about using your imagination to create something so beautiful it was your soul painting on paper. The day I knew I wanted to go to school for design was the day I said to myself "I am going to attend fashion week in NYC one day" and just a few days ago I did just that, not as a designer but a spectator but "Oh what a magical night that was".

I was blessed to glance at the work of Diane Von Furstenburg and Zang Toi and "Oh My Fabric" was it an amazing sight to see live and in person. The colors these designers used were so vibrant and enchanting. The romance in these dresses were just moving with life, the models walked with such elegance and class. It was like experiencing what was inside one of their dreams it was so unreal.

Spring 2011 will be all about color and patters, I saw alot of floral patterns as well as bold bright colors such as bright reds, greens and blues. One particular fabric that stood out to me was the sequins, There were sequin dresses and jackets that were the "New" night blazer in my book. I wish you ladies could have seen first hand how beautiful everything was. If you stop by my youtube channel you can see some footage I recorded from that day.

This was really a dream come true for me, and I know that life can be real unfair at times and you might think nothing will ever happen for the good but please just take a moment before you start to believe that and know that someone out there went to hardships too and after the storm the rainbow came out for her. Believe that anything can happen, Believe that you can make your dreams come true as well, Fight the fight to success and you too will have a moment for life like I did. XOXO

My Youtube Channel

Next month on March 17th will embark my one year anniversary on youtube. This was the day I started out on a new venture in my life. This was the day I stepped out of my shyness and started making videos for hundreds to see. I must admit it was very nerve wracking but I couldn't let me nerves get the best of me. Through out this journey I have grown into a more confident person and a must self assured individual.

I have met some wonderful people who I am honored to call my friends. These women and I have a bond, a link, a similar love for makeup and fashion. A way to explore beauty in many many different ways. We can go outside the box and create a sense of comfort using just colors and a smile. You can tell how much we enjoy making videos just cause it shows all over our faces. Many of us are mothers, wives, some of us do youtube to keep us company due to our husbands being in the army. We all have our reasons why we chose to have youtube in our lives. I chose youtube because I wanted to share my love for fashion and makeup and maybe learn a thing or two from others who share the love on their channel and I most definitely did.

Im writing this blog for a few reasons, I wanted to tell the people who follow my blog "Thank You" for your continue support. I know that I dont post as much as I should but that is why I am here tonight..To give you a promise, A promise that I will post most often. Makeup, Fashion, Friendships, Work, Anything that comes to mind. I am here to give a opinion. I would love to hear more about your thoughts on what I write as well or even what you might like to see. I am trying out a few things that I want to do a review on, I want to take my time and give the products my full attention so that I may give you a honest and thorough review.

When I was given the opportunity to talk about this particular website I have to tell I was so excited. If there was anything you needed for your new home, or your childs room if your looking for something that just screams "Unique" then CSN Stores is the perfect place to find it. They sell everything from pillows, mirrors, and Modern Decor. One of my favorite things about this site is the fabulous quotes they sell for your house. They are like stickers for your walls with little saying's such as "Dance like no one is watching" and my absolute favorite "I love you to the moon and back".

Here we are again, In the month of December getting ready to partake in family functions and engage in new memories to bring into the new year. This entry isnt going to be to long but I did want to take a moment and thank all of my readers who show there love and support to me on a regular basis. Writing is my love and there is nothing else in this world that would ever compete with the sharing of words written. This upcoming year there are going to be alot of changes, I will be doing more makeup looks, reviewing clothing stores and makeup lines and maybe even a book here and there. I was presented with the opportunity to do a review for Cbt'sCloset.com a few weeks ago and I was so excited to do so but ever since I knew about this website I was intrigued my the uniqueness of this company. It reminded me of being a kid and going to a carnival and looking at these tents that would be plaques for you bedroom walls...well Cbt's Closet is somewhat like that only they make wonderful jewelry you can wear on the everyday. They have all kind of different and fun designs to choose from and what is even more exciting is they do custom orders..So if you want your name and Gaga together it can be done, if you want a necklace that says Glee Addict it can be done and if you want a necklace that says Jen Aniston is my homegirl Im sure that can be done as well. The point Im getting at is that this company is incredible at making anything you desire come to life.

When I agreed to do this video I promised to give 100 percent of my honest opinion and I did just that. I have been a fan of Cbt's Closet for sometime now. Cbt's Closet makes all of the pieces by hand and made by acrylic. The wonderful people at Cbt's Closet sent me 2 necklaces one said "Wicked" and the other said my name "Jasmine" now my name is spelled Jasmin with out the "E" at the end but like I said in my video review I will consider myself "Princess Jasmine" whenever I wear it. :) Both of these necklaces are priced at $15.00 on their website. I was also given a beautiful pink glittery ring price as $8.00 on the website

One of the most popular necklaces is the "Barbie" necklace which they have available in different types of fonts. Another popular peice is the Lady Gaga collection in which they have necklaces that say "Lil Monster" or "Gaga Monster" whatever your preference might be Im sure Cbt's Closet has the answer. They also make rings and bracelets as well all in equal beauty. Fashion's Night Out!!

On September 10th 2010 is declared as THE fashion holiday! I stepped out in NYC with my best friend in the whole wide world Rosanna and we enjoyed a night of fashion and complete adventure. After a last minute decision to attend FNO we did exactly what we wanted to do and see exactly who we wanted to see.

The night was a complete success and I loved every minute of it. First stop was Macy's in Herald Square where we first were greeted with champagne and our first encounter of the night was with the beautiful Rebecca Moses, who my best friend took a beautiful picture with as well as received her autograph book, as we were leaving Macy's we saw Patrick Harris from "How I met your mother" and it was so awesome. The outside of Macy's was pumping with the adrenaline of the crowd as the sing with Train who was performing on stage.

Its off to Payless where we stood on line to meet the fabulous Christian Siriano and Patricia Fields. The was my dream meet up. Patricia Fields who is the costume designer to "Sex and the City". I brough her new necklace which was an eye pendant which I love as well as the FNO hand tote. They were so nice and sweet and it was one of the memorable experiences I've ever had in my life.

The final stop was back to Macy's where we found out Kimora Lee Simmons so we walked over to meet her and she was so beautiful in person. This night was incredible and something that I hope I can experiece every year. My BFF and I declared this night to be our Fashion Holiday and something we will continue to do every year.

When I first saw "Sex and the City 2" I was so intrigued with all the diffrent kinds of fashion pieces that I was in complete awe through out the entire movie. One specific piece that caught my eye was a necklace wore by SJP's character "Carrie Bradshaw" which consisted of a huge four leaf clover diamond pendant. This was such a beautiful peice. I think I even maybe dreamed about it a couple of times lol.

Recently, I walked into a Payless Shoe Source and went in with the intentions of getting some new flip flops since the ones I already had were tore up lol..but when I went it I notice the jewelry section which Payless now has and I was amazed by what I saw..more like shocked. Patricia Fields which is a very well known and important designer who has worked with "Sex and the City" since the very beginning has designed an exact replica of the four leaf clover necklace I saw in the movie.

It priced at $14.99 and I brought it on sale for 7.99..What?? Are you serious? I was so happy you don't even know. I felt like I just treated myself with a piece of jewelry from Tiffany's lol. If big statement pieces aren't for you, they do have a smaller version of the same necklace. I think that this is so great of Patricia Fields to collaberate with Payless and do such an amazing job with the making of this necklace..I am completely in love...Thank you Patricia & Payless for allowing me to own such a timeless and sentiment peice..not only am I a fan of "SATC" but I am a fan of four leaf clover luck! :)

There is a time in our lives where we meet people that make us see the whole world in a different way. Somtimes it doesn't even matter how we meet them or why we meet them but we are sure glad we did. I have been on youtube for a few months now, and I have met some amazing confident and strong women along the way. There is a person that stands out to me because she is just the sweetest most warm hearted girls I've met so far. Her name is Fenix Beauty and she is so amazing. I came into doing the whole youtube thing with no experience what so ever and watching her videos and the facts that she takes the time to reach out to her supporters says soo much about her.

Fenix inspires me to do great things she is a master at her craft. The smile she possesses on camera makes you as a viewer confident as well. I think that it is important in the world that we live in today to value any kind of real friendship, I've learned this year who my real friends are and the sad thing about it is that the friends I thought I had and live so close to me were the ones that disappeared into thin air...and the friendships that I find everlasting are with people who live far away.

It's Me!! No One Else!!

Can some explain something to me? Why is it, when someone lives their life in complete and utter bliss, when someone lives a positive life the other people in the world want you to change? I am so sick and tired of people telling me that I am not being true to myself , that I dont let my true feeling show, that I bottle everything inside and dont show my pain. But honestly, I am so tired of being around the negetive that I have learned to shun it out. I am truly happy with my life..no one is perfect and I know that I'm not but come on! If someone can be strong and not let the weakness of the world drag them down..they shouldn't be critizied for that..they should be admired, appreciated and happy that there is someone that can bring smiles to people's faces. This is what I do, this is how God made me. I am a nice person and though I feel not needing to explain myself, I did feel the right to vent.

I dont know..this is all very annoying. I ended a 20 year long friendship with someone because they were negetive 24/7 and I try to surrpund myself with all good and great things. Why am I being finger-pointed at for being positive? This was something I had on my mind..Thanks for taking the time to read this.

The New Me!

This weekend had really been monumental for me. In all my 29 years of life I have always had long hair. I had a trim here and there but never anything major until now. For the first time ever, I cut my hair short and the response Im getting is so great. I feel like a brand new person. I think this is a change that was a long time coming. I notice how much my confidence went up and they way I am carrying myself with a sense of security. I love the new me.

I feel like everyone woman goes through a faze in life in which they feel they have to upgrade their worth and that is what I feel I did. I am seeing myself in a new light and people are loving that this is going for the better. I know this entry isnt as long as I usually would post but I just wanted to share this moment with you.

Hey Everyone!

I know it's been a while since I last made an entry here but have you ever had that moment where your mind just goes blank and then when you think you have something to express you start thinking that this is not what your readers signed up for. I know these are our thoughts and we are here to just say what's on our minds but I really want to give you my 100%.

I am starting on a new venture soon, I have been so amazed at how many young girls and woman can express themselves through videos on youtube that I have considered on doing the same. I will be buying a webcam soon and I will begin on a journey of beauty..lol. I cant believe I am going to do this, seeing as that I am the shyest person I know but I think this will be a great experience for me.

My videos will consist of make-up tutorials as well as hair tutorials. My main focus is basic girl talk, I have a 2 year old daughter and I have alot of friends that come to me for advice and seeing as that I dont believe in negetivity and only focus on the positive I think I can be of effect to young girls and woman who would need any kind of advice. Fashion, Love, or anything they want to ask me. I know that there are GREAT gurus out there and I dont want to disrespect anyone because they have been my teachers but I want to focus on affordable makeup and things like that cuz really we live in a world where everything cost a pretty penny.

What I've Been Up To!e

Hey Everyone!

I know that I have been using my blog to basically just write poems or random thoughts that come from here and there, so I figured today I would just let you in on a couple of things I have planned and what I have been getting into these past couple of weeks.

I have been doing alot of research as far as looking for work, my daughter who is going on 20 months is almost ready to start daycare and it will be alot easier to go back to work since she will be taken care of. At times, I just feel like taking whatever is offered since the economy isnt that great these days one shall not be picky..its just a tacky trait. I've been leaning towards retail since its the easiest thing to get but I have been thinking alot about going back to school. I went to college before for fashion design and merchandising but tuition was just too expensive and it didnt work out for me. I have been thinking alot about Massage therapy. I love making people feel beautiful and relaxed. I even thought about opening my own spa one day..if its meant to be it will.

Youtube.com has become almost like a best friend to me. I just want to give major props to all the gurus out there that I follow cuz you guys are so talented and have really taught me alot about many things. I never used to wear makeup like that, my mom would even say how pale and sick I look..ok Im hispanic and if I look pale and sick then there is a problem. Anyways, not to sound full of it but I am getting so good at the strokes and using my imagination with it all. I am super excited about it. I love youtube!!

This weekend is Labor Day weekend and I know that there will be alot of BBQ's going on and I just wish everyone a fun and safe weekend. Tomorrow I am leaving to New Jersey to stay a few days with my BFF. I hardley get to see her and when we do its so much fun. I cant wait. I know this entry was pretty much me just rambling but I wanted to just say hello to everyone and thanks for reading my blogs it means so much to me.

Love Of My Life

I recently came across an old diary entry about one of the most important people in my life. This entry was written in 2003. It amazes me so, just how young my mind was at the time. Though I still feel the same as did back then at this present time, I thought it would be sort of an eye opening thing to do to post it up. Now mind you, I am heavily into the whole English accent thing and the words may sound a bit English lol..but just bare with me..lol.

Leaders of our own path for which people, our fans wish to follow. No matter the problem we always knew what to do. I shelter thee to be happy and warm while he shelters me with protection and loyalty. For yes, In this world we reside in I may be a pauper but for a dream well lived such as this one, I am royalty with decendants. While my one true love is off fighting for the freedom of his people and we have bestowed up him the courage and fight to gain all trust! You see, Real life is not but a short introduction away. What a fine line between surrelism and reality, its like you can almost see it. Expression is one of the most many achievments, I cant reveal to you how many times a day I'd wish upon a star the good thing is I no longer have to wish on that star for my Draco (My Boo LOL) already came true. I do continue to wish for him but no longer for myself, you see Im happy when he is. Im lucky and fortunate to say that Draco taught me everything I know and then some. I notice each day and night that I change and Im never going to be the same again. Thats a beautiful thing patiently waiting for the arrival of my chosen one. Life is a journey, a journey well lived? Yes! I would do it all over again.

For I fear this is not only the beginning to my story but im back to the intro, I relive the happiness all over again. What a life I have lived, what a tale I cant wait to be unfold but all in good time..Patience is the virtue to all great things. In my decision to choose the road Im on. I shall not make a U-turn, I will make not reverse nor will I ever go back to where I came from.

A couple of years ago, I imagined all the best things in my life to happen, would just happen all at once, that all these dreams of mine would soar the wild blue door and open all these possibilities. I believed in the sweetest kind of dream in which you can smile about the bad later! But at this moment of my life..I shall never see a gray sky but the rainbow over looking the most beautiful ocean..Love makes me feel this way..Draco is that reason.

I remember as a young child, I would look out the window and daydream about what I wanted to be when I grew up. That dream was to be a fashion designer. I used to cut old clothes and make outfits for my barbies or my Lil' Miss Perfect doll and just remember how proud I used to feel when the final garment was done and ready for show. I remember my first sketch..she had a cup head and triangles for a body..lol..I laugh because I was so determined to make this drawing as high fashion as possible and I was only 7 years old. In school everyone knew this is what I wanted to be, and then there were some people who thought I was a great writer. I used to write alot of poems and people including my teachers loved when I used to get up and read what I wrote. Recently, a old elementary classmate of mines, who I used to have a huge crush on told me that til this day he remembers those poems, how brave he thought I was to get up in front of the whole class and declare my love to him through my poems, I was only 10 years old.

I always go back to fashion though. I love the way I can combine colors and create new ideas and then call them my own. I admire the presentation and effort put into some of these designs you see now a days. The work and sweat these artist put into so that their customers have the best experience when wearing their creations. Thats what I wanted, and in many ways..I think I still do. Its been a long time since my last sketch and lately I have felt like I had to say goodbye to an old friend. I used to get so lost when I got into drawing and lately I will get lost when I start writing as I am in a zone already as I type this blog. I guess it goes by

how it makes you feel...Its a part of me I know it is. I just dont know how to get it back.

I respect those who have gone after there dreams and dedicated there life into becoming something..there is a girl who I recently discovered and has become a role model to me and she is younger than I. She has established her life in such a genuine way and makes me want to put that extra effort into myself. Its so weird how a person you have never met can affect your life in such a positive way and make you want to be a better version of yourself. I want to thank her if she is to ever read this blog Dulcecandy87.

I want to thank you for being a inspiration to me. I went online looking for something specific and instead I found a person who is living her dream. I admire you so much and hopes to one day feel proud and confident in my everyday steps as you are. Fashion and writing are one of the two loves of my life and I let it leave me. I want to regain that again, I want to regain that inspiration I had for my love of all that is me. I believe in miracles. Most people would call me a hopeless romantic someone not from this world or era. I was put on this earth to show that love can really exist and it doesn't make you any less of a person if you do..something like a cupid on earth..lol. A once upon a time..is the begining of my story and A happily ever after will be the end. Did you ever notice that once you have that someone special in your life every thing else seems to fall into place. You have goals and you want to become the best you can be. Dont get me wrong I am not trying to say that you need someone else to be happy and do right by you, what I am saying is this..If love is what you seek, I promise you will find. Don't ever hurt anyone is the process of finding this sacred emotion, KARMA is a big factor and it will hit you hard if you decided go that route. If it's meant to be with the person you find and you work hard to achieve it, then happiness and your Happily ever after will be the ending to your story as well. Faux-Ships

What is the real meaning of faux-ships? It is when you have someone in your life and you are so happy to have them be apart of you in such a way that you feel nothing but lucky and grateful..and then their true colors come out and thats when you realize they were not what you expected.

It is said that when you have Faux..it usually leaves you wondering of all the wasted time you spent with this person. To want to get things off your chest and to cry in front of this person and reveal what hurts the most in your life, all they can do in return to you is a smile full of gloat? To have the odasity to convince me now after all this time that your life is so perfect and give me your pity? Save it..I guess MISERY REALLY DOES LOVE COMPANY. I've noticed that this faux is always in a rut and never really looks for me, unless they need some cheering up, as if they count on my hardships to make their life so much more valuable, does that make sense?

I am so tired of these faux-ships that I am taking after Santa Claus and checking my list and checking it twice.

Why is it so hard to find real friends, special people that you can laugh with and share happy and sad moments with. Why do friendships have to be like a trial where all they can do is judge you and brand you a type afterwards. Its sickening to me.

Faux-ships..it so wrong to say but this is so true..Most of the people in our life just may be that faux..and I cab guarentee that only a handfull are sincereley there because they love and care about you.

I had this in my mind today and I guess I just needed to vent it out..friendships are so important to me and I care about people so deeply that when I get tricked to believing that they actually care I tend to feel stupid afterwards. Always appreciate those friends you have when you know you have them..as far as those faux...do they really deserve your energy?? Not me..not anymore!

The Mysterious Smile

Who would have thought that this girl who once wrote of darkness may have finally seen a crack of light. A mere glimspe of a future without all the dissapointment and anguish feelings. My face is suddenly feeling a emotion that it is not quite used to yet it feels nice.

A sudden impact of feeling starts to take over this part of my body in such a way..Can it be true? Am I capable of smiling? Who would have thought that lil' old me has felt enough passion today that the world could actually be a great place to be. That all could be right in the world and that for once its a happiness from within where it is kept so deep inside that no one can ruin it with hate or negetivity.

The mysterious smile that lays across my face..it comes from place I yet cant explain but soon will..All I know that this mysterious smile has made me realize that maybe just maybe life can be all you wish it could be...To Be Continued.......

It isn't the place where I grew up, nor the place where I layed my head when I was a child. It isn't the place where I took my first steps, nor is it the place where my first birthday was celebrated. I cant begin to express to you where my home is..I cant see it.

I can not call it a sactuary, nor can I call it a safe place to be. I can not say that I feel protected here and I cant call it my home sweet home..I cant begin to tell you why this is the place I should be calling home.

This isnt a image I am trying to portray or a exageration of my mind. Almost 29 years of never really feeling that warm and loving togetherness one is born into. Home...how I appreciate that word so much. How I wish and pray for someday I have a place to call home again.

Its the place where I should feel new and refreshed. It should be the place where all my sorrows can dissapear in a single thought. It the place where I should go for comfort and feel my most safest.

They said I can do anything that the world was at the tips of my hands.

They said I was talented & gifted that I would one day visit many lands.

They said I was smart & intelligent born with a good head on my shoulders.

But they never said I would be thrown onto rocks & be crushed by the boulders.

They once said "Girl, you are going to be famous, you going to make it honey!"

But they should have said you'll be struggling for that job, crying for that money

They said Look in the papers make some moves, make those calls.

How everything changes, No more praises, Go work at the mall.

They said clean the streets, flip them burgers Do something Honey!

I do this, I do that I brought this, It sure feels good to have that money.

They said I was tired, a waste of skin a good fortune turned sour.

This is when I took what they said & converted it into power!!

Now they say we knew you can do it we knew it all along

Screw you, it was I who needed to change, I needed to be strong.

Now I say "Without your help I became ME, When I was at the top you never let me

fall but when I fell you never picked me up. I said When I had nothing you laughed at me while cheering me on like you had all this money as if you were some kind of Don.

They said Where did this anger come from, Why are you so upset?

I said you thought that you knew who I was, but you haven't met the real me yet.

I said I heard it all, the goods & the bads the loves and the hates.

So I say to you as I will save this date.

No More sad songs I don't need your help leave your pity at the gate.

I promise to lift myself out of this gutter & rise to my salvation.I promise you this just you wait.

I said I'm going to make it, Be happy and successful I have said again today!

I will be the first person to tell you when you have something great in your life always look at it with appreciation and try your hardest to never let it go. I know so many people that have lost there chance to be happy out of fear that they have hit a dead end zone. That once a person has found there happiness there is no going up from there. This is not true out all. This only means that once you have found that certain connection with someone that nothing else is a suprise, everything from there on in is considered a adventure.

There are moments in time where the most special gifts are those not seen but felt. A feeling in which a person can have the inner power to achieve anything in life just cause at the persice moment they were just that happy! I know I must sound like one of those woman who only sees rainbows when theres thunder in the sky...and your right. Whats the point of visioning a world of dissapointment when there are so many things surrounding us that is so pure and innocent that can change even the most angry person's mind. I believe in the quote" If you wish it, It will come". Its so very true.

Though this entry is quite short..I just wanted to get a point across. In life, when you are given a gift of heart, dont ever take it for granted. Cherish the action and always now that its gifts of the heart are the kind of sentiments that you can never get a rain check for, or exchange it for something else. They come only Once In A Lifetime.

Reality..The Intro

There are times that I can just sit in a moment of stand still and actually believe that I can live the normal life I always wanted. I start to visualize myself surrounded by the tender loving care that everyone assumes comes natural when your born into a family or when you have one of your own, Of course thats not the case here. I now just sit with confusion..wondering "What the hell is going on?". All my life I have felt the need to be a part of something so full of complete and utter happiness, I always just wanted to belong...to something.

How is it possible that a person who has so much feels like they have nothing, I will tell you why..its because what I always wanted was acceptance, respect and love. I feel like I never got it from where it mattered the most. I have a daughter and I vow everyday that she doesnt go through what I go through. I know that there are alot of people out there that has gone through similar situations, just please hear me out. This is where my REALITY hits.....

Im 28 years old..my parents have been married for 48 years still going strong. I have NO relationship with my father what so ever and I live with him not by choice. I was in a situation where I had to come back and start over from scratch and trust me that was not a good day. My dad is the most selfish man in the world, if you want to put a smile on his face just shower him with gifts. My dad makes me feel like I was a mistake and because of him I have lost alot, My childhood, self-worth and friends in the making. I have a 9pm curfew which means I cant leave the house after 9pm and I have to be home by 9pm. He has a alarm on the door which goes off when I come home just so he know what time I got in. He boobie traps the house and he has a payphone in the house. He embarresses me in front of company and calls me a failure as a compliment. This is my real father.

I dont blame myself at all for wanting to escape this type of REALITY with a dream here and there, a happily ever after if you will. Its the only way I can find my serenity. I hope that as a new blogger I will be able to just find the answers in my writing and little by little try to find myself again and understand why I am the way I am. The little girl inside wants to know.
